The Aegis, Vol. 2, Issue # 4 (April 14, 2008)
This issue of The Aegis offered a preview of the announcements that The Aegenis Group made at the ETA Annual Meeting and Expo. Among them were the debut of the Society of Payment Security Professionals, Aegenis eLearning solutions, the introduction of the Certified Payment-Card Industry Security Manager, and The Aegenis Group PodCasts.
The Aegis, Vol. 2, Issue # 3 (March 14, 2008)
The subject of wireless security is one that provides special challenges. In this issue, The Aegenis Group offers a link to their Frequently Asked Questions on wireless security. Aegenis worked with a group of industry recognized experts on the subject to develop this document. Also discussed in this issue are wireless security and the regulatory march relative to the PCI DSS and other data security and privacy issues in the payments industry.
The Aegis, Vol. 2, Issue # 2 (February 15, 2008)
The second issue of 2008 focused on the concept of risk. Risk is a key component of both regulatory compliance and information security. Understanding the components of risk can help companies devise effective methods and processes for mitigating risk. This issue of The Aegenis also featured a profile of IntelliVid, the leading provider of video intelligence software for the retail space.
The Aegis, Vol. 2, Issue # 1 (January 15, 2008)
Welcome to 2008! The Aegis rings in the new year with a discussion of new laws that are scheduled to take effect and a new way of framing the discussion on compliance. Additionally, The Aegenis Group announced a new team member, Shelley Henson Johnson, who will be leading the company's education and training initiatives. The Aegis also tackles the controversial issue of scanning as security.

The Aegis, Vol. 1, Issue # 7 (December 14, 2007)
The last issue of the year highlights Aegenis' accomplishments in 2007. In addition it includes a "Vendor Wishlist" for 2008 - what merchants and service providers would like to tell their security product vendors. The Payment Application Data Security Standard is also addressed in the "Tips & Tricks" section of the newsletter.

The Aegis, Vol.1, Issue # 2 (July 16, 2007)
July featured articles on reducing the scope of the compliance effort. It also included a discussion on finding and removing prohibited data, such as magnetic stripe data, to mitigate the risk associated with a data breach.In the inaugural issue of The Aegis, the topics included a discussion of categorizing merchants according to their risk profile as well as talking about some relevant news that impacted the payments industry.
